Your private details should stay private.
This page describes how AstroMentorship handles account data, reflective AI, optional lifecycle features, analytics, and sharing.
Birth details
Birth date, time, and place are used to calculate placements when you choose to provide them. They are not written into constellation SVGs, invite URLs, or share messages.
Astroguide conversations
Your message and server-owned guide context, including the chart profile used for your reading and saved guide words, are sent to the configured AI provider only to create a reply. The provider handles that request under its own privacy policy. AstroMentorship does not save chat transcripts, prompts, provider responses, or access tokens, and request logs do not include message text. For anonymous abuse prevention, the server uses a short-lived HMAC digest of the transport source for a daily quota; it does not store or log the raw address, the digest rotates daily, and it is not used for advertising or account profiling. A separate shared daily budget also limits provider requests. Safety refusals are handled before an AI request whenever possible.
Account and choices
Your account may contain your email, birth profile, guide selections, reactions, remembered tone, language, and purchase status. You can sign out, change optional preferences, or request account and data deletion through the in app privacy controls and published support contact.
Sharing consent
A guiding word is hidden by default. The share screen has a separate, explicit consent control. Without that choice, a card contains placements and a private placeholder, never the word.
Reminders and email
Native reminders are optional, generic, and scheduled on your device. Monthly recap email is optional and requires a verified primary email. Resend is not connected in this preview, so no lifecycle email is sent.
App analytics
The mobile app may send allowlisted funnel events using random installation and session identifiers, not your account. Events do not include email, birth details, guide words, or written content. They are not sold or used for advertising and are eligible for cleanup after 180 days.
Referral arrivals
Invite links contain a random token. The arrival endpoint counts valid token arrivals and can deduplicate a client supplied random arrival id. It does not need a name, account id, birth detail, or reward entitlement.
